Centers Health Care, the largest and most complete post-acute health care continuum in the Northeast that touches one million lives each year with 45 skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities, is shining a light on their occupational, physical, and speech-language therapy departments. Partnering with BlazePod, a light-based reaction training platform, Centers Health Care’s rehabilitation facilities are offering the BlazePod Challenge to showcase the dynamic new tools used in the facilities and how these interventions are changing lives by inspiring residents to move. Throughout the month, team members are creating 30-45 second videos to demonstrate how they are using BlazePod equipment and the impact of this novel therapy at work to inspire others to participate.
“Healthy movement is the foundation of the Centers approach to overall well-being, and our partnership with BlazePod allows us to take our focus on movement to the next level,” said Kenny Rozenberg, CEO of Centers Health Care. “This challenge not only highlights the great work of our rehabilitation staff and the value of innovative interventions, but it is inspiring our residents to reach new milestones in their therapy.”
